KARACHI, Oct 25: DF Forfaiting AG, a German company, is exploring possibilities of entering Pakistan market with a variety of export financial products. Two officials of the Cologne-based company met with officials of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, a fax release of TDAP announced on Thursday.

According to this press release, the services being offered by German company eliminates risk, improve liquidity through disposal of accounts receivables of exporters at a small discount and the net amount is placed at the disposal of vendor immediately.Mr Ulrich Wipperman, the Regional Director of the German company for Asia, indicated the setting up office at Lahore by next year. The office will be headed by their representative Mr Mamoon Ahmad that will offer tailor made and customised products for Pakistani market.

Mr Sajjad Mallick, the Executive Director of Export Financial Services of TDAP, indicated that the German company would be able to mop up $2 billion from Pakistan even at modest percentage rate by the year 2015.
