Joins PML-N

LAHORE, Oct 24: PPP former MNA from Faisalabad Chaudhry Nisar Akbar has announced his joining of the PML-N.

Speaking at a press conference along with PML-N Punjab president Sirdar Zulfikar Khosa here on Wednesday, Nisar Akbar said he had quitted the PPP three months back after smelling in a meeting that chairperson Benazir Bhutto was going to strike a deal with Gen Musharraf.

Mr Khosa told reporters that Mr Akbar was welcomed to the party folds only after the Faisalabad chapter recommended in this respect. — Staff Reporter
