Kidnapped girl recovered

LAKKI MARWAT, Oct 24: The Serai Naurang police recovered a kidnapped girl, who was abducted from Multan on September 6, during a raid in Mamtal Abad locality on Wednesday.

Official sources said that District Police Officer Lakki Waqif Khan had received information that an eight-year-old girl, Kiran, who was kidnapped from Teetal Mari (Multan) on September 6, had been brought to the district.

The kidnappers rented a house in Mamtal Abad locality in Serai Naurang and kept the girl there, sources said.

They maintained that a joint party of police and Frontier Constabulary personnel led by Serai Naurang police station SHO Usman Ghani conducted a raid on the house of kidnappers in Mamtal Abad area and recovered the girl.
