PESHAWAR, Oct 24: The government plans to build a D-type hospital in Darra Adamkhel.

This was stated by the health director for Fata, Dr Zubair Khan, while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the surgeon’s office for the Frontier Regions of Peshawar and Kohat on Wednesday.

He said that various sites had been considered for the construction of the D-type hospital in the Akhorwal area of Darra Adamkhel. A feasibility report was being prepared.

He said that an appropriate site would be selected for the purpose so that the people get healthcare facilities near their homes. He directed the relevant authorities to open population welfare service centres at the Civil Hospital, Zarkhunkhel.
