The DIG told this to reporters on Tuesday.

The DIG said in the letter that no progress was made by investigation teams so far in Mannu Bheel case hence at the hearing of case the Supreme Court Islamabad observed that these officers – the DPO Sanghar Ajmal Magsi and former DPO Mirpurkhas Abdullah Shaikh used delaying tactics and wasted the time of court.

The apex court directed to take departmental action against them, he added.

The DIG Mirpurkhas said he was taking measure for progress in this case and added he had convened a meeting of investigation police teams to discuss the case from different aspects and prepare an appropriate strategy for recovery of Mannu Bheel’s family members.
