MIRPURKHAS: Mannu Bheel case hearing adjourned

MIRPURKHAS, Oct 23: All the arrested accused of Mannu Bheel case including landlord Abdul Rehman Mari, Jumo Bheel, Ibrahim Machhi, Lal Bux Hingoro, Mansingh Bheel, Raju Bheel and Shabbir Kaimkhani, were produced in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Mirpurkhas-I, Mohammad Yamin Khan here on Tuesday.

Three accused Hashim Khaskheli, Natho Bheel and Manzoor Ahmed Chandio, who are on bail also appeared in the court. The court adjourned the hearing till Nov 6.

Six other accused including Mohammad Azam Khaskheli, Sher Khan alias Sheral Chandio, Qazi Abdul Jabbar, Abdul Jabbar Mari, Nangar Khan Nizamani and Sher Khan Mari were at large and the court had declared them proclaimed offenders.

Meanwhile, DIG police Mirpurkhas, Pir Mohammad Abbasi, held a meeting at his office here on Wednesday and reviewed the progress of Mannu Bheel case, after attending hearing of the case in the Supreme Court at Islamabad.

Explanation notices had been issued to various team members for their failure to arrest the accused of Mannu Bheel case.

The former DIG of Mir-purkhas, Rana Saleemullah Khan, appeared in the court of additional sessions Judge Mirpurkhas-II in a case of town police station here on Tuesday. The hearing was adjourned till Oct 25, as the concerned judge was on leave.
