KARACHI, Oct 23: A Norwegian company has expressed its interest in installing a desalination plant with a capacity of 100-mgd (million gallon per day) in Karachi and invest $500 million in the project.
The plant, proposed to be established on a 100 acres, will have an extended capacity of 200 mgd.
A delegation comprising the company’s executives from Dub ai and Norway called on City Nazim Mustafa Kamal on Tuesday to discuss the project.—APP
