KARACHI, Oct 22: Four-year-old chestnut filly Abhi Abhi who has returned to form is tipped to come out with yet another shining performance in The Eid Milan Cup when the Gymkhana race meeting resumes after three weeks at the Karachi Racecourse on Tuesday.

She sprinted to three-quarter-of-a-length victory over Fantastic Baby under rider Ghulam Shabbir II in the last run to capture the Defence Day Cup.

Abhi Abhi’s present form has given her the edge over five rivals in the seven furlongs race which is also the feature event. The win will enable her to make it two on trot.

Four-year-old colt Reyan King with two back-to-back wins under his belt and four-year-old bay colt Truf Shot can pose her challenge.

Five-year-old bay Tharkyee should make amends by returning with flying colours in the supporting event to be run over six furlongs.

She is likely to be chased by Royal King and Moon Raker for the places among six contenders barring last minute withdrawls.

Five-year-old bay mare Closing Argument is on course for a hat-trick should she edge out opponents in the top division of class VII. Filly Taiz Per and colt Mr. Mention Not look sound to fight for the places.

If tried, three-year-old bay colt Chosen One and filly Sweetie Pie should oblige punters by dominating their respective races.Jaguar, Little Girl and Momal should win the first three races so did Quince in the fifth.

A programme of nine races has been worked out for the day. The first race gets into action at 12.00noon.
