Two rally participants still missing

SANGHAR, Oct 22: Two Sanghar residents who had gone to Karachi to participate in the Benazir Bhutto rally of Oct 18 are still missing. They included Wali Mohammad Mari of village Hamal Mari and Ashiq Buriro of village Kamal Buriro near Tando Adam.

A relative of Ashiq, Mohammad Khan told journalists that they had scanned all hospitals and mortuaries, but failed to find any clue of the two. Hoping against hope, they may might be slightly injured and under treatment in a small hospital in the metropolis.

A third missing person, Khan Mohammad Thaheem of village Daim Thaheem near Shahdadpur was located by relatives in an injured condition at the civil hospital.

Our Naushahro Feroze correspondent adds: The District Nazim Naushahro Feroze, Ghulam Rasool Khan Jatoi, reached village Drakhi and offered condolence with Imam Bux Rajpar on death of his son Nisar Rajpar 26. Nisar was killed in the bomb blast in Benazir’s welcome caravan in Karachi.

He also announced Rs100,000 as financial support to the deceased’s family. He condemned the bomb attack and expressed his sympathy with the heirs of those who were killed in the incident.
