KARACHI: Written tests for doctors, nurses on Nov 4

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, Oct 22: Written tests of the candidates for the general and specialist cadres of doctors and nurses will be held on Nov 4, according to the Sindh health department.

A health official said here on Monday that the test would be conducted simultaneously at six centres — Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Larkana, Nawabshah and Sukkur — to be set up soon. About 1,500 doctors and nurses will be appointed on a contract basis in grades 16 to 18 from among 7,500 applicants. The employees will have to discharge their duties at a specific post and specific health facility at least for three years.
