RAHIM YAR KHAN, Oct 21: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) did not learn any lesson from past and its chairperson Benazir Bhutto was only interested in getting cases against her removed, said Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi.

Addressing a public gathering at City Park on Sunday, Mr Elahi said the PPP had put off its slogan of “Roti, Kapra aur Makan”. He said Ms Bhutto was against the Kalabagh Dam with was essential for development of the country.

The chief minister inaugurated Khwaja Fareed Bridge at Bangla Iccha on the Indus River. The Rs2.75 billion bridge will connect Rahim Yar Khan with Rajanpur and 70 kilometres distance between the two cities will be mitigated.
