KARACHI, Oct 21: Three young men, including two brothers, drowned in Hub Canal at Murad Bund area on Sunday.
Edhi sources said all the three picnickers were residents of Nazimabad. They drowned while having a dip in the canal. Police surgeon Dr Bashir Shaikh told Dawn that the bodies of the victims identified as Naseebullah, 17, Najeebullah, 15, and Mohammad Irfan, 22, were brought to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities. The incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Sakran police station of Balochistan, he added. Edhi sources said the bodies were handed over to the families following the legal formalities.
