KARACHI, Oct 21: The minority Hindu community in the city, like everywhere else around the globe, celebrated their annual festival of Dasehra on Sunday. The festival is celebrated to mark the victory of good over evil. Special religious gatherings were organised in all the city temples with the central meeting held at the Swami Narayan temple on M.A. Jinnah Road in the evening.
Bhajans were also recited and prayers were offered for the community’s prosperity and country’s integrity. Lunger (free food) was also distributed after the meetings.
