PESHAWAR, Oct 19: A man was critically injured when a bomb planted in his car went off in Momin Town here on Friday.

The blast occurred when Munsif, son of Pir Bacha, was leaving his home in the car. He was taken to a local hospital where doctors said his condition was critical. The car was damaged in the blast.

Police sources said that someone had planted the bomb in his absence.

Police have registered an FIR and started investigation.
