NAWABSHAH, Oct 18: Two children were burnt alive while seven huts completely gutted as a fire broke out in Bachal Zardari village near Buchheri, Taluka Nawabshah on Thursday.

Manzooran 6, daughter of Manzoor Zardari and Nasir Abbas 3, son of Fida Hussain Zardari, both cousins were burnt to death when fire broke out due to short circuit in electric wires. Huts of Jam Zardari, Wali Mohammed, Khan Mohammed, Aachar, Ghulam Mustafa Aqil and Amb Zardari were gutted.

The fire spread rapidly taking toll of one goat, donkey, few wheat bags and valuables.

Fire brigade was trying to extinguish the fire till filing of this report.
