MIRPURKHAS: Five injured in armed clash

MIRPURKHAS, Oct 18: Five persons including a woman were seriously injured in an armed attack by their rival group at village Khakhan in union council Kaplore in jurisdiction of Khokhropar police station.

The complainant, Gokal, told journalists at Umerkot on Wednesday that after an exchange of hot words between Ghazi Samejo and Bhugro Bheel the armed clash broke out following damage to the standing crops of Bhugro Bheel.

The armed men of Samejo community resorted to aerial firing and also used axes as result of which five persons of Bheel community, identified as Bhugro, Maliji, Mohan, Talho and Ms Kaman, sustained bullet and stick injuries, who were later rushed to the Umerkot Hospital.

Khokhropar police registered a case under the Sections 324, 147, 148, 149, 337(A-I), 337 (F-I), 337 H-II against the accused, Ghazi, Mohram, Sattar, Gulu, Nihal and Qabool.

No arrest was made till the filing of this report.
