PPP workers leave for Karachi

MANSEHRA, Oct 16: A caravan of PPP leaders and workers left here on Tuesday for Karachi to welcome party chairperson Benazir Bhutto, who is scheduled to land there on Thursday.

Hundreds of party workers and leaders led by tehsil president Munir Khan assembled in the party office and left for Karachi at 10am.

Speaking to journalists before departure, Munir Khan said that PPP workers had always rendered sacrifices for the party.

He said the workers from various parts of the country would go to Karachi in large numbers to welcome their leader.
