KHAIRPUR, Oct 16: Former district Nazim Khairpur Ms Nafisa Shah has said that the return of PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto would fill the political vacuum in the country and the entire political scenario would be changed.

In her telephonic speech from London to the PPP workers at Jilani house here on Monday, she said that those who were issuing statements against the return of Ms Bhutto were politically afraid.

Ms Shah said that the anti-people attitude of feudalists and Pirs had turned Sindh into a police state where political victimisation had become the order of the day.She expressed her sorrow over the death of former naib nazim UC Manghanwari and PPP worker Pakhar Jagirani, who died after police torture after his arrested some three months ago and demanded judicial inquiry into the death of Pakhar Jagirani.

She said that the late Jagirani rendered valueless services to the party cause in taluka Kingri despite political pressure.

Nafisa Shah will return with Ms Bhutto to country on Thursday.
