KARACHI, Oct 13: The Pakistan Table Tennis Federation (PTTF) plans to conduct a short Umpires Course in collaboration with the Asian Table Tennis Union (ATTU) and International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) either in November or December.

The ATTU and ITTF has offered a five-day basic and advanced course to the PTTF under its development programme. The proposed course will be conducted by an ITTF expert.

According to a tentative schedule, the course is likely to take place either during Nov 14 to Dec 2 or Dec 12 to 19.

Those who are interested have been asked to contact the PTTF through their respective organisations, city, district or provincial associations.

According to criteria set by the PTTF, the candidate should have association with a club, educational institution, table tennis association or organisation as former player, sports instructor or organiser, able to read, write and understand English, and conversant with the rules of the game.
