Notices to vacate ancient site


MIRPURKHAS, Oct 13: Notices have been issued to encroachers residing at the historical site of “Kahu Jo Daro” with a warning to vacate the place within seven days or face legal action as per the Supreme Court directives. Notices were issued by Deputy District Officer, Revenue, Hussein Bux Mari.

Hundreds of illegal Katcha and Pakka houses had been built at Kahu Jo Daro near Mirpurkhas. The DDO, Revenue issued notices to remove encroachments following the Supreme Court’s directives to remove encroachments from historical places in the country.—BoC
