MIRPUR (Azad Kashmir), Oct 11: Skipper Imad Wasim’s four-wicket haul and Usman Salahuddin’s unbeaten half-century helped Pakistan U-19s to a five-wicket win over Australia U-19s in the fourth game of the five-match one-day series here on Wednesday.
The victory gave Pakistanis a sound 4-0 lead in the series with the final match to be played on Friday at the same venue – Quaid-i-Azam Cricket Stadium.
After electing to bat first, Australia Under-19s were bowled out for 214 in 47.5 overs as Imad Wasim claimed four for 40.
In reply, Pakistan Under-19s reached the target for the loss of five wickets in 47.5 overs as Usman Salahuddin, batting at number six position, struck an unbeaten 55, off 75 balls with three hits to the fence.
Usman and Jibran Khan (44 not out) shared an unbroken stand of 89 runs for the sixth wicket to take Pakistan, from a precarious 127-5, to the victory target.
