Senate body summons PCB officials

LAHORE, Oct 10: The chairman Senate Standing Committee on Sports has asked the officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to appear before the committee to discuss different matters, related to the financial matters and latest status of the board's constitution on Oct 24.

The PCB has been asked to furnish documents regarding the earnings/revenue received from the last two World Cups held in 2003 and 2007 in addition to other earnings received during the last three years through Tests and one-day matches.

The details of administrative salaries and expenditures, list of special grants, bonuses/awards to players, list of legal and professional fees paid and details of travelling expenses of the chairman board and other members and staff has also been demanded.
