KARACHI, Oct 10: The Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) referring to a report title : “Ramazan sees surge in kidnappings” which appeared in Dawn’s Oct 10 issue clarified on Wednesday that the 31 cases mentioned as “unsolved” were actually those in which the kidnap victims were freed on payment of a meager amount of ransom indeed due to proper handling by the CPLC.
The CPLC further claimed that there was only one case at present under investigation.
