KARACHI, Oct 10: Three ships carrying containers and chemicals are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Naftocement-11 to load cement, Iran Sattari, Harmony and APL Sokhna to unload and load containers and Banga, a tanker, were berthed on Wednesday.

Eight vessels, Iran Sattari, Sina Bintan, Augusta, Wadi Al-Rayan, Oel Spirit, Despina, Golden Arrow-11 and Chem Rose Chrysoula-S departed. While Wan Haip-303, Oriental Protea, Oriental Salvia, APL Solhna, Arietta Jade Trader, Golden Accord and Banga are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 70,125 tons comprising 35,946 tons of export tonnage and 34,170 tons of import tonnage was handled on Wednesday.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Chemstar Brave with chemicals, A. Dragon with mogas and Iron Butterfly with containers.
