ISLAMABAD, Oct 9: The Mahafil-i-Shabeena started at city mosques to seek the blessings of Allah Almighty.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 12 Huffaz have been selected from all over the country to recite the Holy Quran during Mehfil-i-Shabeena at Faisal Mosque.
Special arrangements were made to hold prayer congregations in other mosques of the federal capital.
Police have also made special arrangement for foolproof security around mosques during the last days of Ramazan.
Pakistan Television and Radio Pakistan also telecast and broadcast Mahafil-e-Shabeena respectively from Faisal Mosque.—APP
