KARACHI : Education city coordination committee constituted
KARACHI, Oct 9: The Sindh government constituted a coordination committee for Education City on Tuesday.
Sindh Education Secretary Sabhago Khan Jatoi will act as its convener. Chief Secretary’s Principal Staff Officer Shafiq Ahmed Khoso, Executive District Officer (Revenue) Sualeh Farooqui, EDO (Master Planning Group of Offices) Iftikhar Qaimkhani, Ziauddin Medical University Vice-Chancellor Shahid Aziz Siddiqui, and Forum of Stakeholders of Education City Secretary Syed Shahab Akhtar will act as its members.
The terms and reference of Education City Coordination Committee will be issued later on.
Conservation committee
The government has also constituted a committee for conservation of Shah Belo as Safari Park with the following composition.
Sindh Culture, Tourism and Social Welfare Minister Abdul Rauf Siddiqui will act as committee’s chairman while additional chief secretary (planning and development), secretary (services, general administration and coordination), secretary finance and secretary culture, tourism and social welfare will be its members.—PPI
