KCCA invites 38 probables


KARACHI, Oct 8: The Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) on Monday invited 38 probables of Karachi Whites and Karachi Blues teams for net practice at the Customs Academy on Tuesday at 10am in preparations for the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy starting on Oct 20.

In addition the KCCA has also asked the Karachi Greens 17 players to appear for net practice/training session at the PCB Academy Ground on Wednesday at 10am to prepare for PCB Level-II Under-23 championship.

Karachi Region’s Under-19 players, who are producing outstanding performances in the ongoing inter region competition will be included in three Karachi teams at the conclusion of the under-19 event, Secretary KCCA Siraj-ul-Islam said.

Two KCCA teams will be formed from the following probables:

Mohammad Sami, Asim Kamal, Khalid Latif, Wajihuddin, Zeeshan Pervez, Asad Shafiq, Wasim Naeem, Daniyal Ahsan, Atif Ali Zaidi, Tanvir Ahmed, Fahad Khan, Faraz Ahmed Khan, Adnan Kaleem, Javed Mansoor, Ovais Rehmani, Afsar Nawaz, Adeel Malik, Mansoor Khan, Shadab Kabir, Faisal Hussain, M. Masroor, Fahadullah, Tariq Haroon, Ariz Kamal, Naved Khan, Sharjeel Ashraf, Mansoor Baig, Tabish Khan, Malik Aftab, Sajid Hanif, Mohammad Ali, Mubashir Ahmed, Faraz Patel, Ejaz Ahmed, Rizwan Saeed, Tabish Nawab, Azam Hussain and Ali Hussain Rizvi.

Those invited for the Level-II contest include:

Behram Khan, Ramiz Raja, Shaharyar Ghani, Fazal Subhan, Zaheer Abbas, Misbah Khan, M. Bilal, Rahil Waris, M. Fahim, Khalid Rasheed, Shahid Aslam, Babar Rehman, Majid Khan, Tariq Murad, Jibran Bashir, Fahad Iqbal and Faraz Khan.—APP
