IFRC to serve in quake-hit areas


ISLAMABAD, Oct 8: The International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies’ (IFRC) mobile health teams will continue delivering medical care and health education in earthquake-hit areas of the NWFP.

According to International Federation of the Red Cross, the programme will provide training in areas such as community-based first aid, traditional birthing techniques for midwives and hygiene promotion to upto 2,000 people each week.—APP
