MIRPURKHAS, Oct 8: A motor rally was taken out from village Syed Khadim Ali Shah to village Syed Khadim Ali Shah via Mirpurkhas on Sunday night to celebrate the success of General Pervez Musharraf in presidential election. The participants, riding on motorcycles, pickups and cars and led by district general secretary of the PML Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, passed through different areas of the city. The participants were raising slogans in favour of General Musharraf. They distributed sweets among people.

Meanwhile, as part of PPP preparations to welcome Benazir Bhutto in Karachi on Oct 18, a motor rally was taken out from Jilani house here on Sunday.

Party workers, led by district PPP president Haji Noor Hassan Chandio and MPAs Shamim Ara Panhwar and Syed Irfan Ali Shah and riding on hundreds of motorcycles, pickups and cars, took round of different villages, including Mohammed Ali Lashari, Kak Bungalow, Gul Mohammed Rind, Jhillori, Mirwah Gorchani etc.
