Phone service report clarified


LAHORE, Oct 7: Responding to an Oct 2 news report on faulty network in Sialkot, Mobilink says the Caller Line Identification (CLI) system in Sialkot and Narowal districts is in perfect order.

It says company’s technical teams have tested and ascertained that there has been no outage or performance-related degradation in Jazz Load transactions. “Neither retailers nor sales distribution department has raised any complaint to this effect in Sialkot and adjoining areas,” it said.

Correspondent adds: The report was based on problems being faced by a large number of consumers. Moreover, some of the problems pointed out in the report still persist.
