HYDERABAD: Wasa covers manholes

HYDERABAD, Oct 7: The staff of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) have started covering manholes of sewerage lines in different localities of Qasimabad taluka.

A spokesperson of the Hyderabad Development Authority, under which Wasa functions, said that the localities where the work was going on included Prince Town phase-I and II, Nasim Nagar, Domra Goth, Marvi Garden, Hussain Soomro, Chandio Goth, Happy Homes, Masjid Aqsa, Waqar Town, Sehrish Nagar, Ali Palace and Sheedi Goth.

He said that the covers had been bought through the limited resources of Wasa to provide relief to the residents and called upon them to prevent theft of the covers in the interest of their own safety.—APP
