KARACHI, Oct 6: Zubair XI defeated Rauf XI 4-2 in the Ramazan Champions Trophy hockey tournament at UBL Sports Complex on Saturday.
Aqeel Ahmad opened the scoring with a 10th-minute goal, while Haider Abbas doubled the lead in the 25th minute.
Mohammad Farooq reduced the margin in the 37th minute before Haider slotted home for his second in the 45the minute.
Zulfiqar Hussain got the second for the losers two minutes later.
Izahar Ahmad from the winning side sealed the fate of the match with a 55th-minute strike.
