JHUDO, Oct 6: The crime rate is increasing in Jhudo and its surrounding areas as unknown bandits have snatched ten motorbikes and a car during the past two weeks.

According to details, street crimes in the town and adjacent areas have increased, while on the other hand the police seemed to be doing noting in this regard.

People said that the police was not only reluctant to take on the drug dealers but paying little attention to rising street crimes.

They claimed that sale of gutika also has risen as police allegedly providing shelter to those involved in it.

Civil society groups have been demanding of higher authorities to take strict action of the situation and order police to take on against the street crimes.—PPI
