Mock disaster drill on Oct 8
PESHAWAR, Oct 6: A walk scheduled to be held on October 8 on the occasion of the National Disaster Awareness Day has been cancelled.
However, a mock drill to stimulate emergency response such as first aid and fire fighting will be organised by the health department and civil defence at the Police Lines ground at 10am on Oct 8.
Government officials, volunteers of the civil defence, paramedic staff, police personnel, philanthropists and civil society will take part in the mock drill.
