NAWABSHAH: Consumersirked by erratic gas supply

NAWABSHAH, Oct 6: Disruption of gas supply to Nawabshah city created lots of problems for the citizens on Saturday.

Supply to different parts including Manuabad, Essarpura, Gharibabad, Mohni Bazaar, Police Lines, Golimar, VIP Road, Mehran Colony, Bhangwar Colony, Qazi Ahmed More, Society, Mariam Road, Hussaini Road and other areas remained suspended from 6 in the morning to 3 in the evening due to leakage in Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGCL) pipeline in Malik Colony.

Asad Ali at the SSGC Emergency Service told Dawn a line was leaking at Malik Colony after which supply was suspended. He said a technical team was working and it would be restored soon.
