KARACHI, Oct 6: Four ships carrying containers and to load ethanol are due arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Conti Esperance, Calvin P. Titus to unload and load containers, Lake Harumi to offload DAP fertiliser and Diamond Park to load ethanol were berthed after the departure of three.

The ships, which departed included Hansa Stavanger, Calvin P. Titus and Hyderabad, while Cap Colorado, Conti Esperance, Swat, Diamond Park, Aetos and Kaspar Schulte are due to sail out on Sunday.A total tonnage of 95,678 tons comprising 30,392 tons of export cargo and 65,286 tons of import tonnage was handled on Saturday.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Golden Accord to load ethanol, Jitra Bhum, Ever Govern and Wan Hai-303 with containers.

The following vessels are due on Monday: Sinar Bintan, Iran Sattari, Augusta, Wadi Al-Raya with containers, Pulau Cebu with general cargo and Iron Butterfly with project cargo.
