MIRPURKHAS, Oct 5: A teenage boy attempted to commit suicide because his parents were unable to provide him new cloths for occasion of Eid in Jhuddo town on Thursday night.

Mohammad Amir Kaimkhani 18, had been demanding from his parents to arranging a new dress for him on the occasion of Eid.

But when they refused, the teenager resorted to commit suicide by self-immolation by sprinkling kerosene on his body and set on fire.

Amir sustained serious burn injuries, and was taken to Jhuddo Hospital from where he was referred to Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas.
