Pakistan-Iran ties

ISLAMABAD, Oct 5: The relations between Pakistan and Iran would become a shining example of bilateral ties and unity in the ranks of Muslim countries as it was necessary to strengthen the cause of Palestinian people, Iranian Ambassador Ma’ashallah Shakiri said here on Friday.

Speaking at an Iftar dinner, he said relations between Iran and Pakistan were progressing well.

Mr Shakiri emphasised that cohesion and understanding among Muslim countries was necessary to liberate the Al-Quds, the first ‘Qibla’ of the Muslims.—APP
