KARACHI, Oct 5: Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim has claimed that 103 of the 167 members of the Sindh Assembly will vote for Gen Pervez Musharraf in Saturday’s presidential election.

Talking to a group of journalists after an Iftar party he had hosted for coalition partners on Friday, Dr Arbab expressed his ignorance about the contents of the national reconciliation ordinance but criticised the PPP for demanding withdrawal of cases against Benazir Bhutto, claiming that the PPP leadership had never taken any initiative to seek some relief for the common man.

The chief minister pointed out that the same people who until now had been raising the slogan of “Go Musharraf Go” had suddenly started supporting him as president for another term.
