Factory owner sent to jail
TAXILA, Oct 4: The civil judge Hassanabdal has sent a factory-owner to jail for lack of safety measurers at his factory.
Judge Mehar Mohammad Iqbal awarded seven years rigorous imprisonment and Rs3,000 fine to the owner, Ishtiaq.
According to the prosecution, four workers were burnt to death as fire broke out in the factory, situated on the Hazara road Hassanabdal, on April 26, 2005.—Correspondent
