PESHAWAR, Oct 4: The NWFP government has granted exemption to all shops and establishments in the province from the provision of section 7(1) of the West Pakistan Shops and Establishments Ordinance from Oct 2 to Oct 16 to facilitate shopping on Eid Fitr.
Under section 9, all the persons employed in these establishments should be paid double the rate of their normal wages in lieu of their weekly holiday.—APP
