KARACHI, Oct 4: Three ships with containers, chemicals and coal were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, three more ships carrying containers and edible oil also arrived at the outer anchorage. Seven ships, Carina, ACX Marguerite, Sadwan Island, Spar Emerald, Rio Gracia, Al-Kortubi and Lucky Viship, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, fertiliser, chemicals, LPG, coal and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 58,057 tons comprising 39,925 tons of import and 18,132 tons of export tonnage was handled.
