KARACHI, Oct 3: Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim has expressed optimism that in the presidential election on Oct 6, President Gen Pervez Musharraf will get the solid support of 103 members of the Sindh Assembly, which is the total strength of the ruling coalition government. The total strength of the Sindh Assembly is 168 members.

The chief minister was talking to a group of journalists after an Iftar he hosted for MPAs and cabinet colleagues.

The chief minister ruled out any dissention among the coalition over the reported deal with the Pakistan People’s Party. He said all coalition parties were fully behind President Musharraf.
