Duty exemption

ISLAMABAD, Oct 3: The government has exempted customs duty on import of a range of raw materials used in the manufacturing of various products.

The decision was announced on Wednesday through a customs notification SRO992 of 2007 by amending the SRO567 of 2006.

According to the decision, the government exempted customs duty on import of Concentrated Coccidiostats, Furazolidone (feed grade), Sulphadimerzine (mixture form with any other anticoccidial), Sulphaqunoxaline (mixture form with any other anticoccidial).The customs in excess of 12.5pc on import of Pathalic Anhydride, 15 per cent on BOPP Films in Jumbo Rolls Exceeding 20 CM.
