KARACHI: JUP expels ‘defector’
KARACHI, Oct 2: The Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan has cancelled the basic membership of its Hyderabad-based MPA Abdul Rehman Rajput, who was vice president of the party’s Sindh chapter.
According to a JUP press release, the “defector” was expelled for not tendering his resignation under a decision of the opposition parties on Tuesday.-—PPI
