Steel standards

KARACHI, Oct 2: The Pakistan Steel Re-Rolling Mills Association (PSRMA) has pointed out certain flaws in the proposed Standardisation of Steel Policy, says a press release.

The association in a letter to the Ministry of Industries and Production and Pakistan Standard and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) stated that the proposed standards were even more technologically advanced than India and required very specific and stable raw materials for their production, which are not available locally in sufficient quantities.
