KARACHI, Oct 1: Six ships carrying containers and to load cement and clinker are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where eight ships were berthed during the last two days. They are: Caribbean Carrier to load cement, Oel Trust, Pu He, Conti Harmony, and Mol Asante, to unload and load containers, Ken Blossom, to offload DAP fertilizer, Liquid Success and New Champion, both oil tankers.

Sailing was also active as eight vessels, Kuo Chang, Eric G. Gibson, Mol Asante, Oel Trust, Aegean Tiger, Mandalay, Oriental Frecsia, and Estmed Carrier departed, while Pu He, New Champion, Hanin, and Mol Ability are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.143m tons comprising 72,890 tons of export cargo including 13,603 tons of cement and 28,304 tons of clinker and 70,214 tons of import tonnage was handled during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Tuesday; Nafto Cement-11, to load 12,000 tons of cement, Ocean Frontier, to load 30,000 tons of clinker, Oriental Salvia, with lube oil, Wan Hai- 305, APL Amman and Hansa Stavanger, with containers.
