Lahore thrash Delhi Hurricanes

LAHORE, Sept 29: Lahore rugby team won convincingly against Delhi Hurricanes 22-13 to enter the quarter-final of the All-India and South Asia tournament, which started off in Mumbai on Saturday.

The game was played in very wet conditions at the Mumbai Gymkhana ground. Delhi scored first.

But Lahore came back when Sahir Aslam scored two tries.

Lahore began to spin the ball to their backs and used their , speedsters, vice captain Arsalan Zahid and winger Manan Aslam also added one try each.

In the quarter-final, Lahore will play Maharastra State Police on Monday.
