KARACHI, Sept 28: A servant of an army officer committed suicide at Army Apartments at Raja Ghazanfar Ali Khan Road on Friday.
Police said that Tasaduq Husain had been found hanging in his room within the apartment. The deceased was a civilian and had been employed at the apartment of a major. Police shifted the body to the Jinnah Hospital for legal formalities. A number of army personnel were present at the Jinnah Hospital to expedite the process. The victim belonged to Tala Gang, Punjab.

A four-year-old girl died in a road accident in Shah Faisal Colony on Friday night. Edhi sources said that Umaira had been knocked down by a speeding hi-roof vehicle in Shah Faisal Colony.
A 12-year-old boy was crushed to death beneath a dumper in North Nazimabad on Friday.
According to police, the boy who could not be identified had reportedly perched himself behind the dumper. As the unaware driver reversed the vehicle the boy got crushed beneath it and died on the spot.
