LONDON, Sept 27: English county Yorkshire has completed the signing of former Pakistan and Sussex bowler Rana Naved-ul-Hasan on a two-year contract, it was announced on Thursday.
The 29-year-old pacer was a key part of this year’s title-winning side but Sussex let him go after choosing Mushtaq Ahmed as their overseas player for next year.
Rana Naved will have a thorough test on his dislocated right shoulder before linking up with the Tykes next March. He collided with an advertising board in a match at Durham, but Yorkshire said they expect him to recover fully.—Agencies
